The CAT exam is usually held in the month of November; however, CAT 2010 will start from October 27th and end on November 23rd, 2010. The advertisement for CAT 2010 will be published in the news papers on the last Sunday of August, and the process of registration and sale of forms will start after three days. Hopefully, this year aspirants will not face any problem and will take a glitch-free test. Prof. Himanshu Rai, IIM Lucknow said, "CAT will be held from Wednesday, October 27 to Tuesday, November 23, 2010. The window for CAT 2010 will be 20 days and the test will be held in two slots on each day." The test will be conducted in the same 32 cities as it was in 2009 but the number of test centers will be reduced. The application fee for CAT exam will be the same as last year. The cost for taking CAT test will be Rs. 1,400 for general candidates and Rs. 700 for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
