PH.D Programme
Applications are invited to from eligible candidates for Research
Entrance Test (RET) and Direct Admission (RET-Exempted) to Ph.D
Programme in various subjects.
Eligibility:
A candidate holding Master Degree or its equivalent examination from
any recognised University/Institution with at least 55% marks in the
main subject or in an allied subject is eligible for the Research
Entrance Test (RET) and registration for Ph.D. Degree.
There shall be relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST/ PWD in the
restriction of minimum marks.
How to Apply:
Application form, Information Brochure and Rules & Regulation for
Research Entrance Test (RET)/Direct Admission (RET Exempted) for
admisson to Ph.D. Programme can be obtained from the office of
Registrar, Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar by paying Rs.
1000/- in cash or by sending a demand draft of Rs. 1050/- to
Registrar, Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar.
The demand draft should be in favour of "Registrar, Gurukula Kangri
Vishwavidyalaya" payable at Haridwar.
Application form can also be downloaded from www.gkv.ac.in.
Completely filled in application form for entrance test/Direct
Admission shall be submitted to the office of Registrar, Gurukula
Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar.
Application form Downloaded from website will accepted along with
demand draft of Rs 1000/-
Important Dates:
Last Date for Submitting the Application form: 31st August, 2013
Date of entrance Examination: 22nd September, 2013
Date of Display of result of RET on notice board: 7th October, 2013
Note:
Final selection of the candidate shall be made on the basis of
discussion about research area of his interest and interview. The seat
shall remain vacant in the concerned subject, if any candidate is not
found suitable even after the above process.
No examination fee shall be paid by the candidate while submitting
application form.
Write the name of the main subject (with code) applied on the top of
the Envelop and your name and main subject (with code) on the back of
the demand draft while demanding application form.
Application/Test Fee shall neither be returned in any case nor shall
be transferred for any course.
Candidate must check carefully and ensure that he/ she fulfills the
minimum eligibility mentioned in the Information
Broucher/Rules&Ragulations before submitting the application. If the
candidate's eligibility is found incomplete/incorrect at any stage
during admission process and after admission, his/her admission will
be cancelled for which he/she will solely be responsible.
