CSIR-IICT invites applications from highly talented research oriented candidates to join as Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for PhD programme in the following areas for the academic session starting from August 2015
Research areas: Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Polymers & Functional Materials, Inorganic & Physical Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry & Pharmacology, Biology/Chemical Biology, Bio Engineering & Environmental Sciences & Engineering, Chemical Engineering
Essential Qualifications for CSIR IICT:
JRF PhD Program in Science: M.Sc or equivalent degree in Chemistry (Organic/Inorganic/Physical/ Analytical/Medicinal and Polymers): Biology/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/Environmental/ Genetic/ Zoology/ Physics or Allied Sciences with a Valid rank in CSIR/UGC NET JRF examination, or a valid DST-INSPIRE/ICMR/DBT Fellowship
JRF PhD Program in Engineering: BE/B.Tech/ M.E/M.Tech or equivalent degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering/ Biotechnology/ Environmental Sciences with a valid GATE score/ CSIR-UGC-NET rank
Note: The candidates who have passed CSIR-UGC-NET examination, under the "Lectureship Category" are not eligible
How to Apply for CSIR-IICT
Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria may apply online for PhD Admission to CSIR- IICT at www.iictindia.org on or before 22nd May 2015
Please note that only online applications will be accepted
Candidates who wish to enroll for PhD under Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR) may separately submit online application to AcSIR at www.acsir.res.in
Selection Procedure at CSIR-IICT
Selection for admission to the PhD Programme shall be on the basis of interviews/Written Test to be conducted at CSIR-IICT for the short-listed candidates
List of shortlisted candidates for written test/interview will be displayed on CSIR-IICT website on 31st May 2015
Written test/ interview for the above program are likely to be conducted on 15th - 16th June 2015 at CSIR-IICT
Please note that as per the applicable norms no TA/DA shall be paid to the candidates appearing for the interview/ Written Test
