Master of Laws (LLM) - One Year Full Time Post Graduate Programme 2015-16
Applications are invited by Symbiosis Law School (SLS), Pune for admission to one year full time Master of Law (LL.M) programs for the commencing session 2015-16
Specialization for one year LL.M Programme in Business and Corporate Law; Constitutional and Administrative Law; Innovation, Technology and Intellectual Property Law; Legal Pedagogy, Legal Practice and Research; Criminal Law and Security Law; Human Rights Law; Legal Practice and Court Management
(A specialization will be offered subject to preference by minimum 10 candidates)
Eligibility for Symbiosis Law School (SLS) LLM Program:
Three/Five year LL.B Degree from any Indian or Foreing University recognized by the UGC with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% for SC/ST Candidates)
Candidates who have appeared for the final year LLB examination may also apply
Medium of Instruction: English
Pattarn of LLM Program: Semester Pattern - Total 2 Semesters
Fee Structure for Symbiosis Law School (SLS):
Academic Fees (Per Annum) - Rs 80,000/-; Institutional Deposit (Refundable) - Rs 10,000/-
For International Students: (i) Academic Fees (Per Annum): Rs 1,20,000 (USD equivalent to NRI); (ii) Administrative Fee (Non-Refundable): Rs 40,000 (USD equivalent to NRI) (iii) Institute Deposit (Refundable): 10,000 (USD equivalent to NRI)
Sanctioned Intake: 60 Students (10 per Specialization)
Reservation of Seats: Within the sanctioned Intake
Scheduled Caste: 15%
Scheduled Tribe: 7.5%
Differently-Abled: 03%
Wards of Serving/Retired Defence Personnel: 05%
Over and above the Sanctioned intake:
i. Kashmiri Migrants - 2 Seats
ii. International Students, including PIO and NRI - 15%
Exam and Method of Assessment for Symbiosis Law School (SLS):
All internal courses will have 100% component as internal evaluation at the institute leve. All external course will have 60% internal component and 40% term End (University) examination
The examination will be conducted at the end of each semester; each paper will consist of marks based on the credits allotted and will be divided as under:
Internal - 60%
Term End (University) Exam - 40%
